Biography

I obtained my Msc in Pharmacy from Lviv Medical University in Ukraine and my PhD in Pharmaceutics from NorthWest University, South Africa. In addition, I had a Research Fellowship from the University of La Laguna, Tenerife, Spain. I teach Pharmaceutics (the science of dosage forms and drug delivery systems). My research interests are in the field of transdermal drug delivery especially the use of microneedles. I have over 45 publications including two books titled Transdermal Drug Delivery: Concepts and Application (Academic Press) and a second book (Microneedles, Academic Press, In press). I am a member of the AAPS, CRS, and the AAC.
