Biography

Dr. Jeremiah Duby is board certified in pharmacotherapy (BCPS) and critical care (BCCCP). He is a clinical pharmacy specialist and residency program in critical care. Dr. Duby primarily serves as a pharmacist embedded with the Surgical Critical Care service at UC Davis Medical Center. He periodically provides support for the Burns, Neurocritical Care, and Medical ICU services. Patient care and bedside clinical challenges are the inspiration for his efforts in policy and protocol development, research, and teaching. Dr. Duby also serves as an Associate Clinical Professor for Touro University College of Pharmacy (TUCOP) and UCSF School of Pharmacy, and Assistant Clinical Professor for UC Davis School of Medicine. He provides didactic lectures for TU students on acute care topics that range from clinical pharmacokinetics, acute pain, sepsis/septic shock, acid-base disorders, and acute dysglycemia. Jeremiah graduated from Washington State University (2003) and then completed residencies in general practice (PGY-1, 2004, William L. Fritz, MS, FASHP) and in critical care (PGY-2, 2005, Brian L. Erstad, PharmD, FCCM) at the University of Arizona Medical Center (UAMC).
