Shirley Wong, PharmD

Pharmacy Resident, DREAM Team

Research Education And Management (DREAM) Team. She later completed her pharmacy degree at University of the Pacific Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy. Currently, she returns to TUC as a pharmacy resident to work on the Pharm2Home Initiative, where she is directly involved with patient recruitment, clinical appointments with patients, precepting rotation students and developing research projects.

She is very passionate about educating her patients, helping them understand their disease states, and figuring out how to lower their medications costs. She previously taught a National DPP Lifestyle Change Program cohort and plans to teach a future Success with Diabetes session. Working with the community and helping them navigate their challenges is what motivates her every day.
