Biography
Traci Stevenson, D.O. is an associate professor in the Department of Clinical Sciences and Community Health at Touro University California, College of Osteopathic Medicine. She is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, holds a Certified Culinary Medical Specialist Certification and is an Institute of Functional Medicine Certified Practitioner. She has a special interest in medical education and care for the unhoused, nutrition and food security, prevention and health equity. In addition to development and integration of medical education addressing structural determinants of health she has co-led the integration of a Culinary Medicine curriculum into the pre-clinical undergraduate medical curriculum incorporating modules recognizing the importance of cultural awareness, food systems, and nutrition security as part of chronic disease prevention. She also serves as faculty preceptor and clinician as part of the Street Medicine Team collaboration with Touro University and One Love/4th Second Vallejo Mobile Health Outreach and Faculty Preceptor for the Cardiology Club.
