Biography

Stefanos is a board-certified, California-licensed Physician Assistant with extensive clinical and academic expertise. Currently serving as Principal Faculty, he coordinates courses in Emergency Medicine, Surgery, Procedures, Point-of-care Ultrasound, and Medical Spanish components of the curriculum.

Clinically, he brings years of diverse experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, and street medicine. He has worked across various healthcare settings, managing patients of all ages and acuity levels, including critical care scenarios. His professional focus includes providing culturally competent care to underserved populations, with fluency in Spanish and a commitment to trauma-informed and holistic medical approaches.

In addition to his academic and clinical responsibilities, he volunteers with the Refugee Health Alliance and Touro University’s Street Medicine program, delivering essential care to refugees and individuals experiencing homelessness. His clinical interests include Emergency Medicine, Psychiatry, Addiction Medicine, Infectious Disease, and International and Humanitarian Medicine.
