Post-bac Enrichment Program

This program runs concurrently with Touro California’s two post-bac programs, MSMHS and MPH. It integrates a year-long 1-credit course that focuses on skills needed to be successful in a health professions program.

Peer mentors will meet regularly with you to answer questions and develop your career to help make you more competitive in your application to one of Touro California’s health professions programs.

Stipend & Benefits

Participants will receive a stipend of $500 upon completion of program requirements.

Eligibility & Selection

To be eligible for this program, students must come from an educationally or economically underserved background (see HCOP homepage), reside in a County North of San Francisco Bay (Solano, Napa, Contra Costa, San Joaquin), and be enrolled in the Touro University California MPH or MSMHS program in the fall semester.

Applicants will be evaluated based on:

  • Overall GPA (transcripts required)
  • Responses to guided questions in the application form
  • Interest in a healthcare profession

What You’ll Learn

This 1-credit course supplements the Master of Public Health and MS in Medical Health Sciences programs and gives you additional support with career planning, study methods, individual development, and insights into admissions to health professions programs at Touro University California.
