Health Professions Bridge Program

This 4-week course is tailored for students accepted into the Touro California DO, PharmD, or PA programs. Designed to set you on the path to success, this intensive experience spans the month just before your health profession program begins.

Stipend & Benefits

Each participant will receive a stipend of $1,000 upon completion of program requirements.

Eligibility & Selection

To be eligible for this program, students must come from an educationally or economically disadvantaged background (see HCOP homepage) and be matriculating into one of the following health programs at Touro University California: Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine; Doctor of Pharmacy; Physician Assistant Studies.

Applicants will be evaluated based on:

  • Overall GPA (self-reported)
  • Responses to guided questions in the application form
  • Motivation to take charge of your academic success

What You’ll Learn

The first two weeks are in a flexible online format, allowing you to engage with materials at your own pace, while the subsequent two weeks bring you to campus for hands-on learning alongside a small cohort of peers. Dive into program orientation, meet faculty members, and explore academic support services.
