Biography

Sumera Ahmed, MD, BC-ADM is Assistant Professor at Touro University California. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and is a fellowship trained Diabetologist. She is the Program Director of Diabetology Fellowship. She provides diabetes consultation services at Solano County FQHC serving adult patients with diabetes across the spectrum. Sumera Ahmed has coauthored publications on necessary evolution of diabetology fellowship program in the United States and developing national standards, on hospital management of diabetes and diabetes management during Ramadan fasting. She is a founding board member of American College of Diabetology.
