Admissions
Unless otherwise stated, virtually all correspondence is conducted via email. Please be certain that you are able to receive emails from "@tu.edu" and "@touro.edu" addresses and be sure to monitor your junk mail folder.
We have noticed several occasions where email messages are not delivered to hotmail.com or other Microsoft owned/sponsored domains. To ensure you do not miss important messages, we strongly recommend that you create an email account using Gmail or other similar services.
The Master of Science in Medical Health Sciences program utilizes a rolling admissions cycle, which means applications are reviewed and decisions are rendered throughout the admissions cycle until the class is full. A waitlist will be utilized to fill openings as they occur following the close of the application cycle.
Applications for this program are submitted through PostBacCAS, the central application service for post-baccalaureate/master's programs. Before beginning the application, make certain you have access to transcripts from all colleges attended, contact information for those who will be writing your letters of recommendation, and standardized test scores (if applicable).
Interfolio Users may request that letters of recommendation be sent to PostBacCAS using Dossier Deliver. Please refer to the Interfolio website for how this is done. Please also make certain to compile information regarding your research, clinical, employment, and volunteer experiences.
Application materials will be accepted up to the close of business on June 1st, 2022 but applicants are advised to apply early for the best chance of admission.
When all application materials have been received and verified, the applicant file is forwarded to the Admissions Committee for review. The Committee will determine whether the candidate is to be accepted, wait-listed, or denied.
Notifications will be made via email and/or US Mail within two to four weeks of the submission of all required application materials. Accepted candidates will be required to secure their seat in the cohort by returning a response form and required non-refundable deposit.
Applicants to Touro University California (TUC) may also choose to apply to and submit seat deposits for other programs located within TUC or the greater Touro College and University System (TCUS).
TUC applicants who have deposits at one or more TUC or other TCUS programs will be given until April 15th (for Summer starts) or June 1st (for Fall starts) to decide which program they wish to attend and will be required to withdraw from all other TUC/TCUS program to which they have deposited.
TUC applicants who are accepted and who submit seat deposits after April 15th (for Summer starts) or June 1st (for Fall starts) will be required to immediately withdraw from any other TUC/TCUS program to which they have deposited.
