Biography

Dr. Mendoza serves as adjunct faculty for the School of Nursing, College of Education and Health Sciences.

Dr. Mendoza is a dedicated and accomplished nursing professional with over 12 years of nursing experience in various healthcare settings. Throughout her career, Dr. Mendoza has demonstrated a steadfast dedication to healthcare promotion across the entire age spectrum. She has worked in clinics to level 1 trauma centers across the Bay Area with extensive experiences spanning from pediatrics to adult medicine, urgent care, and acute care. 
Her educational role is a commitment to advancing nursing education, promoting safe nursing practice, and advocating for patient safety and healthcare accessibility. 
She oversees multiple outpatient clinics for the county of Santa Clara in the Bay Area, ensuring they meet the highest standards, codes, education, and performance. Her leadership and expertise have contributed to the delivery of high-quality patient care and improving health outcomes.
