These ceremonies will take place Monday, May 22 and Tuesday, May 23 at Memorial Auditorium, 1515 J St., Sacramento. This event marks a significant milestone for the graduates of our College of Pharmacy, College of Education and Health Sciences, and College of Osteopathic Medicine who have worked hard to achieve their goals and are now ready to take on new challenges.

At the 2023 Commencement, an expected 379 graduate degrees will be conferred to 320 students. The 2023 Commencement marks the rise of the total number of TUC Alumni to over 7,000 exceptional physicians, pharmacists, educators, physician assistants, nurses, public health practitioners, and health science professionals.

Provost and Chief Executive Officer Dr. Sarah Sweitzer said of the graduates, “Throughout their journey we have spoken our vision ‘To Serve, To Lead, To Teach,’ but our students, our graduates, bring that vision to life and improve our world each day. Our communities across the country and around the world are fortunate to have these graduates as change agents.”

Vice Provost and Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Steven Jacobson, echoed those thoughts. In his commencement program letter, Jacobson wrote, “As the newest member of the TUC alumni, you will now join the many outstanding and distinguished doctors, pharmacists, educators, physician assistants, nurses, family nurse practitioners, public health practitioners, and health science professionals throughout the world who are making a meaningful difference in their communities.”
