Touro University California is hosting a program celebrating our veterans through music, special guest speakers and a moment of silence.

This event is free, and all are welcome to join us as we celebrate the men and women who have kept our country safe throughout the years.

Following a welcome address, the festivities will include:

  • The posting of colors
  • Playing of the National Anthem
  • Message from Senior Vice President of Touro Shelley Berkley
  • An address from Provost and CEO, Dr. Sarah Sweitzer
  • Greetings from Vallejo City Vice Mayor Rozzana Verder-Aliga
  • An address from keynote speaker, Touro University California Joint MSPAS/MPH alum and Army National Guard CPT Keith Jackson
  • After those addresses, Dr. Michael Barbour will recite the famous World War I poem, In Flanders Field, followed by the placing of a wreath.
