Student Scholarships
Scholarships are the greatest area of need for our students.
Your gift can make an immediate impact on their lives. Many of our students are unable to work, therefore, scholarship opportunities are singularly important and valuable to earning their degrees. In some cases, scholarships can be a deciding factor in realizing their professional dreams.
The Gift of Scholarship
Please explore the many scholarships below that giving at Touro California can make a difference.
The Osteopathic Scholarship
A one-year, non-renewable award presented by the Dean of the College of Osteopathic Medicine for outstanding potential for leadership in Osteopathic medicine.
College of Education and Health Sciences Scholarships
The College of Education and Health Sciences incorporates our Graduate School of Education (GSOE), School of Nursing, Public Health Program, and our Joint MSPAS/MPH Program, which encompasses Physician Assistant and Public Health studies. The one-year, non-renewable awards are made by the Dean of the College of Education and Health Sciences to students with outstanding potential in each of the fields.
College of Pharmacy Scholarships
Pharmacy Scholarships are awarded by the Dean of the College of Pharmacy to current students and to highly sought-after students who may otherwise be reluctant to take on more student debt for pharmacy education and help attract them to the Touro pharmacy program and a pharmacy career. These funds help support student development through participation in conferences, seminars, and continued growth of the residency program. The College also awards Diversity Scholarships to deserving students from underserved communities.
Diversity Scholarships
Scholarships are awarded annually by each of our programs to full-time Touro University California students from underserved communities who best demonstrate leadership skills, a commitment to community involvement, and who are in good academic standing. Your financial support to this fund will help students who might otherwise be unable to complete a top-quality education while addressing the existing disparities in our professions.
Alumni Association Scholarship
Annual scholarships are awarded by the Alumni Association Board each year to full-time Touro University California students who best demonstrate leadership skills, a commitment to community involvement, and good academic standing. Your financial support to this fund will help the Alumni Association make a greater impact.
Student Emergency Fund
The Touro University California Student Emergency Support Fund provides financial assistance to currently enrolled Touro California students (full or part-time) who are unable to meet immediate or essential expenses.
Named Scholarship
Individuals, alumni classes, family members, and colleagues can establish a scholarship with a one-time gift or a multiple-year pledge totaling at least $25,000. This scholarship naming opportunity can be used to honor a personal hero or be named after you, your family, or a loved one.
Student-Run Free Clinic
Touro University California is proud of our free health clinic organized and staffed by the students with onsite, direct supervision by a licensed clinician. Your donation to this clinic will help our students in their efforts to provide reliable and accessible care for those in need in the community. A full 100% of your donation supports the clinic and the work the students do for the community.
The Aisha Shakeel Memorial Scholarship
The Aisha Shakeell Memorial Scholarship is a one-year, non-renewable award presented in honor of a Touro University California Student Doctor in the College of Pharmacy who passed away on Dec. 28, 2020, after being hospitalized with COVID-19 in Pakistan.
