Biography

I am a proud alumnus of Touro University California College of Osteopathic Medicine (TUCOM). After earning my bachelor's degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), I returned to Northern California to attend TUCOM, where I received my Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree. I then completed my pediatric internship and residency at Children's Hospital Los Angeles.

In 2009, I returned to Touro University California as a faculty member while continuing to care for underserved pediatric patients in our local community. Since then, I have had the privilege of serving in a variety of leadership roles, including Vice Chair of the Department of Primary Care, Assistant Dean of Clinical Integration, Associate Dean of Clinical Education, Associate Dean of Academic Affairs, Dean of the College of Osteopathic Medicine, and now Campus Provost.

I currently serve as Campus Provost, Dean of the College of Osteopathic Medicine, and Professor of Pediatrics. Throughout my career, I have remained actively engaged in teaching and mentoring students and residents and have been honored to receive the TUCOM Teacher of the Year Award five times.

My professional passions include osteopathic medicine, medical education, pediatrics, interprofessional collaboration, humanism in healthcare, and the well-being of learners and physicians. I am deeply committed to expanding educational opportunities, strengthening partnerships with our healthcare communities, and preparing compassionate, highly skilled healthcare professionals who will improve the lives of the patients and communities they serve.

It is a privilege to lead and serve alongside the exceptional students, faculty, staff, and community partners who make Touro University California such a remarkable institution.
