The Mobile Diabetes Education Center -MOBEC- is bringing diabetes awareness and education to the H.O.P.E. Community Resource Fair in Fairfield!
MOBEC Services will include:
- A one-on-one interaction with each community member visiting MOBEC to assess risk factors for diabetes.
- Screening and individualized education to prevent and manage diabetes and prediabetes.
- Blood pressure screening and check-ups will also be provided.
This event will benefit, low income, at risk of homelessness and currently homeless residents of Fairfield. This event will connect them to local resources regarding housing, shelters, employment, food, medical, mental health, etc.
Services will be provided inside church building
