Candyce Sullivan

Biography

Candyce Sullivan serves as the Faculty Development Department Manager for the College of Osteopathic Medicine at Touro University California. In this role, she supports the advancement of faculty and educational programs through strategic coordination, systems development, and operational leadership across faculty development and continuing medical education initiatives.

Candyce brings a strong clinical foundation to her work as a Certified Medical Assistant, with eight years of experience in patient care settings, including six years working directly alongside medical students during their clinical training. This experience informs her practical, learner-centered approach to program development and faculty support.

Since transitioning into higher education, Candyce has developed expertise in instructional design, program operations, and workflow optimization. She plays a key role in managing faculty development programming, coordinating Clinical Distinction courses, supporting accreditation and compliance processes, and implementing systems that enhance efficiency and tracking across the department.

Known for her collaborative mindset and problem-solving approach, Candyce is passionate about creating structured, accessible processes that support both faculty and learners. She is committed to fostering professional growth, improving educational experiences, and contributing to the ongoing success of Touro University California’s mission to serve, lead, and teach.

Outside of her professional role, Candyce is a wife and mother of two and enjoys creative writing and building projects that support community and personal growth.
