Touro Professor Honored with Leadership Award

VALLEJO — The American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians has honored Dr. Natalie Nevins with the Outstanding Female Leader Award.

Nevins is a professor at the College of Osteopathic Medicine at Touro University California on Mare Island.

“I am humbled and honored. I strive to be a role model for our future female leaders and show them you are only limited by your imagination and motivation to serve,” Nevins said in a statement, adding a specific note to young female physicians and medical students, “always remember to be kind, not only to your patients and others, but to yourself.”
