Bill in Congress to bring $10.8M to 5th District: $1.9M targeted in Solano

VALLEJO — Rep. Mike Thompson has voted to secure more than $10.8 million in Community Project Funding for the 5th Congressional District, with $1.9 million targeted to Vallejo.

The funding includes House Resolution 2471, the “Funding for the People Act.”

“One of my top responsibilities as a member of Congress is to ensure our communities have the resources they need to live healthy and successful lives – and this year’s spending bill includes every community funding project that I submitted to improve the lives of my constituents,” Thompson, D-St. Helena, said in a press release from his office.
