For Your Health: Use mindfulness to reduce stress

The timing of this column was not planned to coincide with the worldwide pandemic that has impacted all of our lives, but the topic is certainly critical at this time as we can all benefit from resources for calming during a period of uncertainty and stress.
Developing a mindfulness practice during home confinement could be a powerful and
healthy coping mechanism. Mindfulness has become fairly well-accepted as a clinical
practice with significant research to support its use.
