Symposium set for Jan. 12 at Touro University in Vallejo

Touro University California’s Integrative Medicine Symposium is set for Jan. 12
Experts from around the U.S. in the fields of Western, Naturopathic, Ayurvedic, Tibetan and Traditional Chinese Medicine will share evidence-based complementary and integrative approaches to healthcare, according to a news release.
Integrative Medicine is a healing approach that considers the physical, emotional, mental, social, spiritual and environmental influences on one’s health.
The day will include workshops, seminars and networking opportunities and breakfast and lunch will be provided. This event will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Lander Hall, 105 Price Way, on Mare Island in Vallejo.
Expert Speakers include: Ingrid Bauer, MD, MS: Botanical Support for Chronic Pain; Connie Earl, DO; Maria Chao, DrPH, MPH and Bonney Lynch, L.Ac
For students and community members, registration is only $30. For physicians and other healthcare providers interested in CME credits, there is a $150 regular registration fee.
