Touro to host gun violence prevention event

Touro University California faculty and students will be joined by youth and other community members for a symposium on gun violence prevention and building safer schools and communities.

Lisa Norton, dean of the College of Education and Health Sciences, and Annette Aalborg, professor and coordinator of the Community Public Health Track, will head the event, which will take place from 1 to 6 p.m. Oct. 14 at Lander Hall, 1310 Club Drive, on Mare Island.
