Touro issues degrees to more than 550 grads

Faculty, students and staff of Touro University celebrated commencement ceremonies Tuesday and Wednesday at the Mare Island campus, according to a press release. The university issued degrees to 551 medical, public health and education professionals, the release stated.

“During my three years at Touro, I have learned to look at life through multiple lenses . . . I go about my days thinking about how situations affect health, impact the community and how they create change for the future. I have grown in many ways at TUC, but I have to say that this institution helped develop my vision,” Sagar Rana, who received a joint master of science in physician assistant studies and master of public health on Wednesday, said in the release.
