Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction with Dr. Scott

Stressed about finals? Come give yourself a nice break to practice self-compassion and mindfulness with Dr. Scott. The session will introduce the basic concepts and techniques taught in the standard Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction program, which was originally developed by John Kabat-Zinn at UMass Medical School. In light of the timing, Dr. Scott will focus on mindfulness and breathing techniques that can be useful for reducing test anxiety. The most stressful moments are the best time to practice and implement these stress reduction techniques and make them into a long-term habit! 

This Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction session will be co-hosted by Integrative Medicine Club and Mental Health Club. Our presidents will briefly discuss leadership positions and election information for next semester. Please attend if you're interested in leading our clubs next year!
