Public Health Hero Awards

About the Award:
The Public Health Hero Award was originally established in 2007 in conjunction with the Day of Compassion. In 2010, the Public Health Hero Award aligned with Public Health Week. The purpose of the award is to honor students and community members who have demonstrated significant contributions and commitment to public health service and research. As part of National Public Health Week, award recipients will be honored on Thursday, April 7, 2016 in the Farragut Inn Ballroom at the Public Health Program Hero Awards Reception from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Farragut Inn Ballroom.
