Details:  “SAAO’s Introduction to Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy for non-OMS students” is a workshop for PAs, MPHs, Pharmacy students, Masters students, and Nursing students at Touro. We believe that as students at an osteopathic school, everyone on campus should have access to some of osteopathy’s treasures. The workshop will consist of a short talk by Dr. John Glover on the history of osteopathic medicine, what osteopathic medicine is, and how a healthcare team can maximize the osteopathic scope in practice, followed by the hands-on portion wherein OMS2 students teach some introductory OMT techniques that participants can immediately start using to help optimize their health & treat some minor aches and pains.
