TUC Welcomes New Registrar
Dr. Ron Travenick started with Touro in January with Banner implementation training in New York before he came to the California campus as its new permanent Registrar. Prior to TUC, Dr. Travenick was Vice President of Student Services at Ohlone Community College where he also served as Dean of Enrollment Management and Registrar. He has over 32 years of experience in a variety of positions in public and private university and California community college settings acquiring a depth of experience in Student Affairs and the enrollment management service areas. Ron lives in Walnut Creek with his wife, who is a teacher at Clayton Valley High School. His son is currently in graduate school and working with Autistic children while his daughter studies biology at Mills College. Dr. Travenick will be a great asset during this critical change in how student records and data are managed at TUC.
"I am excited to meet the Touro family of students and educators," Dr. Travenick said. "From the first day that I came to visit, I was impressed by the collegial spirit and energy of the students and staff."
